Senior Planner

We’re growing and looking for a Senior Planner to join our team and looking for the right person with relevant experience. You will support the Project Manager and / or Planning Lead through project coordination to ensure achievement of all planning deliverables in a timely manner and on budget, in line with the agreed project programme.

You will be educated to a Master level (desired) or Bachelor level (essential) in relevant subject such as Geography, Planning or Environmental Sciences (or similar) and we would like you to be a member of, or working towards membership, in a relevant Professional Institution.

As role requires attendance at client meetings and LSTC offices, you should hold a UK Driving licence (or one acceptable to our insurers).

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

    • You will be planning lead on S.37 / TCPA projects and be responsible for delivering the planning aspects of these types of projects on time and on budget.
    • Coordination of multidisciplinary deliverables for submission to the client.
    • Input to commercial and programme elements as required.
    • To mentor and train other members of staff.
    • Coordinate internal design, technical, survey and planning teams to help deliver the activities driving Project programme.
    • Input to commercial documentation, including reviews of client briefs or engineering proposals (PROP), Early Warning Notices (EWNs), Compensation Events (CENs), programme and CSR.
    • Engage and manage sub-contractors as required, including obtaining quotes, issuing PO’s and monitoring costs and deliverables (including peer review).
