Finance Administrator

Job purpose:

To provide support to the Accounts Team and administration support to the Company.

 

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Accounts Support
    • Assist in the processing of sales and purchase invoices as required
    • Undertake relevant filing
    • Undertake general accounts admin and support as required
  • Admin
    • Make travel bookings, such as hotels, flights, ferries etc.
    • Responsibility for vehicle admin – including arranging servicing, MOT’s etc, fuel cards, bridge tolls
  • CMAP – project management system
    • Learn CMAP and provide support with queries.
    • Input project data into CMAP

Due to the nature of the business and the typically ongoing nature of projects, you may be expected to undertake duties outside the general description outlined above.

 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualifications
    • GCSE Maths and English (grade 4 or above) or equivalent
  • Experience
    • A good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Key Attributes
    • Highly numerate
    • Good communication skills both verbal and written
    • Good organisational skills
    • Accurate data input and good attention to detail
    • Enthusiastic with a flexible approach to work
    • An eagerness to learn
    • Able to work as part of a small team
